2374: S.D. 505z1 to 515y5
Table of Contents

The Annari start blockading the Kraylor home world, three years before VOY “Nightingale” (September 2377; the datastreams cause me quite a bit of trouble, but the actual dates are earlier in the same month).

January 2374: S.D. 505z1 to 506c1

Just before VOY “Unity”, Chakotay and Ensign Kaplan conduct a scouting mission in the Nekrit Expanse.

DS9 “A Simple Investigation”

Fiveday 11th to Oneday 14th Threemonth, 9401 B.E.; Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th January, 2374: S.D. 506b4 to 506b7

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: One day is a Saturday. I think it’s the third day of the story. There’s an “out of nowhere” S.D. 50606.6 that I’ve effectively ignored because it doesn’t fit with the days of the week at all.
Continuity: Julian has a new holoprogram The Queen’s Gambit. It was promised to him two months ago, but it’s not clear whether it’s just arrived, or was sent while Changeling Bashir was on the station. Odo has sex with a solid for the first time.

VOY “Unity”

Wednesday 30th January to Sunday 3rd February, 2374: S.D. 506c0 to 506c4

Actual stardates: Thursday 24th January to Sunday 3rd February, 2374: S.D. 506b4 to 506c4

Estimated duration: 5 days
Chronology: There is a stardate for the first day, S.D. 50614.2. Unfortunately, that’s followed by a stardate for what should be the third day, since the next day will be three days since the shuttle crash that opens the show, making that the fourth. S.D. 50622.4 is the date I’ve used, and ignored the earlier one.
Continuity: Voyager will be in the Nekrit Expanse for a month.

DS9 “Business as Usual”

Oneday 21st to Sixday 33rd Threemonth, 9401 B.E.; Monday 4th to Saturday 16th February, 2374: S.D. 506c5 to 506d6

Estimated duration: 13 days
Chronology: There’s an “out of nowhere” S.D. 50675.5 that I’ve used to help place the story.

Mid-February 2374

Just before VOY “Darkling”, Voyager visits an outpost of the Mikhal Travellers.

VOY “Darkling”

Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th February, 2374: S.D. 506d3 to 506d6

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 50693.2.
Continuity: Kes is three. I’m right, but I suspect not for any of the right reasons. Kes has dumped Neelix, and found herself a new boyfriend, at least temporarily.

Around Friday 15th February, 2374: S.D. 506d6

About three weeks before VOY “Rise”, the asteroid bombardment starts.

Sunday 17th February, 2374: S.D. 506d8

On S.D. 50698, Harry Kim is infected with a Tiresian retrovirus on an away mission, the vorilium-collecting mission suggested in VOY “Darkling”. We find out about the infection in VOY “Favorite Son”.

DS9 “Ties of Blood and Water”

Oneday 35th to Sevenday 41st Threemonth, 9401 B.E.; Tuesday 19th to Monday 25th February, 2374: S.D. 507x0 to 507x6

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the third day, S.D. 50712.5.
Continuity: Tekeny Ghemor dies. Dax has known Kira for five years. I make it a rather short five years.

Threeday 44th Threemonth, 9401 B.E.; Thursday 28th February 2374: S.D. 507x9

Two days before DS9 “Ferengi Love Songs”, Quark’s bar is closed due to an infestation of Cardassian voles.

DS9 “Ferengi Love Songs”

Fiveday 46th to Fourday 52nd Threemonth, 9401 B.E.; Saturday 2nd to Friday 8th March, 2374: S.D. 507y1 to 507y7

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: I’ve ignored the “out of nowhere” S.D. 50701.2, because it would move the story out of sequence with DS9 “Ties of Blood and Water”.
Continuity: Rom and Leeta announce their engagement, and Quark gets his licence back.

VOY “Rise”

Friday 8th March, 2374: S.D. 507y7

Estimated duration: A day
Chronology: The “out of nowhere” S.D. 50567.4 had to be ignored, since it seems to be out of sequence.

49th a’qeylIS, 999 Q.B.; Fourday 52nd Threemonth, 9401 B.E.; Saturday 9th March, 2374: S.D. 507y8

Three days before DS9 “Soldiers of the Empire”, B’Moth starts a cruise along the Cardassian border.

Sunday 10th March 2374: S.D. 507y9

Launch of Prometheus on S.D. 50749.5, according to VOY “Message in a Bottle”.

DS9 “Soldiers of the Empire”

1st to 6th jo’voS, 999 Q.B.; Sevenday 1st to Fiveday 6th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Tuesday 12th to Sunday 17th March, 2374: S.D. 507z1 to 507z6

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: I think the fourth day is the 53rd day of the Year of Kahless 999, 4th jo’voS, 999 Q.B.; Threeday 4th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Friday 15th March, 2373: S.D. 50744. Not entirely by chance, it is. There’s an “out of nowhere” S.D. 50839.2. I’ve ignored it, because not only does it not fit with my ideas, it doesn’t match up with the stardated stories either.
Continuity: Doctor Bashir is acting as the intelligence officer on the station. Worf joins the House of Martok.

VOY “Favorite Son”

Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th March, 2374: S.D. 507z1 to 507z3

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the second day, S.D. 50732.4.

VOY “Before and After”

Around Thursday 21st March, 2374: S.D. 508a0

Estimated duration: One day in the present, 9 years and 1 week altogether
Chronology and Continuity: Defy any explanation I can give. I’ve put all the stuff about Kes and the Krenim in a separate article. I can’t make sense of any of it.

Sevenday 15th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Wednesday 27th March, 2374: S.D. 508a6

A week before DS9 “Children of Time”, Kira and Shakaar visit the Kenda Shrine on Bajor. It turns out to be a bad move on Shakaar’s part, because Kira says the Prophets tell them to split up, and they do.

Oneday 16th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Thursday 28th March, 2374: S.D. 508a7

Also a week before DS9 “Children of Time”, Defiant begins a seven-day mission into the Gamma Quadrant.

Around March 2374

About two months before DS9 “In the Cards” (May 2374), Kandra Vilk leaves Deep Space 9 to settle on a safer, neutral planet near Coridan.

DS9 “Children of Time”

Oneday 23rd to Threeday 25th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th April, 2374: S.D. 508b4 to 508b6

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 50814.2.
Continuity: It’s over a year before DS9 “His Way”(March 2375), so I missed that. It’s also supposed to be a month before DS9 “A Call to Arms”. I have that in May 2374, so I’ve managed it. O’Brien is making Molly a doll’s house, because it’s “nearly her birthday.” Once again, that’s an unmitigated disaster. Molly’s fifth birthday was on Sunday 26th August, 2373: S.D. 50253 by my calculations. So her sixth won’t be for another four months. Since I’ve never had any success in making the O’Brien children’s ages make any sense at all (whatever I’ve tried) I’m just looking the other way. Or maybe Miles thinks the doll’s house is going to take several months to build.

DS9 “Blaze of Glory”

Oneday 30th to Sixday 35th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Friday 12th to Wednesday 17th April, 2374: S.D. 508c2 to 508c7

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: There’s an “out of nowhere” S.D. 50862.4 that I’ve sort of used to place the story.
Continuity: Michael Eddington dies, and that’s the end of the Maquis. It’s also difficult to see how Thanksgiving in 2372 could be “last year,” but I’ve been very unlucky there.

Twoday 31st Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Saturday 13th April, 2374: S.D. 508c3

The first Dominion convoy passes through the Wormhole. I’ve made them Bajoran weeks, not least because Earth weeks are a lot easier to work out if you want to use them instead.

Twoday 38th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Saturday 20th April, 2374: S.D. 508d0

The second Dominion convoy passes through the Wormhole.

“Star Trek: First Contact”

Tuesday 23rd to Wednesday 24th April, 2374: S.D. 508d3 to 508d4

Estimated duration: 2 days in the present
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 50893.5.
Continuity: It’s supposed to be nearly six years since TNG “The Best of Both Worlds” (June 2367). My calculations make it nearly seven. Most of the main action in this story takes place in 2063. USS Defiant is heavily damaged, but salvageable.

VOY “Real Life”

Tuesday 23rd to Friday 26th April, 2374: S.D. 508d3 to 508d6

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 50863.2. The second day is supposed to be a Wednesday, and as blind chance would have it, it is.

Twoday 45th Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Sunday 28th April, 2374: S.D. 508d8

The third Dominion convoy passes through the Wormhole, as determined by DS9 “Call to Arms”.

VOY “Distant Origin”

Monday 29th April to Thursday 2nd May, 2374: S.D. 508d9 to 509a2

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: I used the “out of nowhere” S.D. 50899.1 to place the story.

DS9 “Empok Nor”

Fiveday 48th to Twoday 52nd Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Wednesday 1st to Sunday 5th May, 2374: S.D. 509a1 to 509a5

Estimated duration: 5 days
Chronology: There’s another “out of nowhere” stardate for this story, S.D. 50901.7, which has helped me to place it.
Continuity: It’s the year before DS9 “Rocks and Shoals” when Garak captures Nog. I have cheated mercilessly, and made it Bajoran years, because I think that story is in August this year.

Twoday 52nd Fourmonth, 9401 B.E.; Sunday 5th May, 2374: S.D. 509a5

The fourth Dominion convoy passes through the Wormhole.

DS9 “In the Cards”

Fourday 54th to Fourmonth to Sixday 1st Fivemonth, 9401, 9401 B.E.; Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th May, 2374: S.D. 509a7 to 509a9

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the third day, S.D. 50929.4.
Continuity: Morn buys the picture of a bullfight that’s part of the plot in DS9 “Who Mourns for Morn?” It’s supposed to be five months since Bashir last worked on his prion project, but I think that was in early January, so it’s only four. Nog retrieves Kukalaka the teddy for Bashir, from Leeta. It’s six months since DS9 “The Rapture” (November 2373), which I managed, somehow.

Sevenday 2nd Fivemonth, 9401 B.E.; Saturday 11th May, 2374: S.D. 509b1

Keiko, Molly and Yoshi O’Brien go back to Earth, two days before DS9 “Call to Arms” starts.

VOY “Displaced”

Sunday 12th to Sunday 19th May, 2374: S.D. 509b2 to 509b9

Estimated duration: 8 days
Chronology: The first disappearance is at 11:32, there’s a stardate for 12 hours later, S.D. 50912.4. My theories suggest that this is wrong, and that the stardate at 23:32 would be 50912.9. There’s also a stardate for the eighth day, S.D. 50929.6. Strictly speaking, it might be the eighteenth day, but the story doesn’t seem that long.

DS9 “Call to Arms”

Twoday 4th to Sevenday 9th Fivemonth, 9401 B.E.; Monday 13th to Saturday 18th May, 2374: S.D. 509b3 to 509b8

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the third day, S.D. 50975.2. The next Dominion convoy is due in five days, so the gap between them is exactly a week long.
Continuity: The fifth Dominion convoy passes through the Wormhole on the first day, and it’s the fifth in as many weeks. It’s a month since DS9 “Children of Time” (April 2374), which I managed. It’s supposed to be “weeks” since DS9 “In the Cards”, but I ran out of time, so it’s a few days. Rom and Leeta get married. Dax agrees to marry Worf. The station is handed over to the Dominion. It’s three months before DS9 “A Time to Stand” (August 2374), and you’ll see I’ve struggled to manage that.

Monday 20th May, 2374: S.D. 509c0

Captain Janeway’s birthday, as stated very clearly in VOY “Year of Hell”. You can see that it falls in a very unlikely place in relation to it. I’ve just had to accept that this story is the one that can’t possibly work if stardates are the way I say they are.

VOY “Worst Case Scenario”

Tuesday 21st to Monday 27th May, 2374: S.D. 509c1 to 509c7

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the third day, S.D. 50953.4.
Continuity: It’s over a year since Seska died in VOY “Basics” (June 2373). I haven’t managed that, by a good month.

Twoday 18th Fivemonth, 9401 B.E.; Tuesday 28th May, 2374: S.D. 509c8

According to my calculations, it will be Ha’mara. As usual, I’ve tried to make it sometime we don’t see.

VOY “Latent Image”

Wednesday 29th to Thursday 30th May, 2374: S.D. 509c9 to 509d0

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 50979.
Continuity: Doesn’t work terribly well in these flashback sequences. I’ve placed this by stardate. We don’t find out anything about Ensign Ahni Jetal until the main part of VOY “Latent Image” in November 2375.

Around May 2374

Kellin the Remura begins hunting a runaway, almost a year before VOY “Unforgettable” (April 2375).

VOY “Scorpion” (Parts 1 & 2)

Sunday 2nd to Wednesday 12th June, 2374: S.D. 509d3 to 510a3

Estimated duration: 11 days
Chronology: There are stardates for what I think is the second day, S.D. 50984.3 and the eleventh day by my guess, S.D. 51003.7. Strictly speaking, it could be the twentieth day, but that would be stretching the story by quite a lot.
Continuity: It’s supposed to be three months since VOY “Unity” (February 2374, although the problems are with the internal stardates, not the placement). I make it four months. 7of9 joins the crew.

VOY “The Gift”

Sunday 16th to Monday 17th June, 2374: S.D. 510a7 to 510a8

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate in VOY “The Voyager Conspiracy” for when Kes leaves the ship, S.D. 51008.
Continuity: Kes and Neelix drink Talaxian champagne for the first time since joining the ship, three years before. Kes leaves, but also knocks ten years off Voyager’s trip by sending them 9,500 light years closer to Earth.

Wednesday 19th June, 2374: S.D. 510b0

According to VOY “The Voyager Conspiracy”, 7of9 has her Borg implants removed on S.D. 51030. It has to be very soon after VOY “The Gift”.

VOY “Nemesis”

Friday 28th June to Monday 15th July, 2374: S.D. 510b9 to 510d6

Estimated duration: 18 days
Chronology: There are stardates for what I think are the fourth day, S.D. 51082.4 and the eighteenth day, S.D. 51096.5.

Around Fiveday 49th Fivemonth, 9401 B.E.; Sunday 30th June, 2374: S.D. 510c1

The last time Worf and Dax speak to each before DS9 “A Time to Stand”; it’s five weeks before that.

July 2374: S.D. 510c2 to 511b2

Three months before DS9 “You Are Cordially Invited…” (October 2374), Worf starts planning the wedding.

Fourday 55th Fivemonth, 9401 to Fiveday 1st Leaponemonth, 9402 B.E.; Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th July, 2374: S.D. 510c7 to 510c8

According to my calculations, the Gratitude Festival.

VOY “The Raven”

Friday 19th to Sunday 21st July, 2374: S.D. 511a0 to 511a3

Estimated duration: 3 days
Continuity: Rather confusingly, it’s two months since 7of9 arrived on Voyager, but only three weeks since her implants were removed. I’ve failed on both, since it’s only a month and a bit since she arrived in VOY “Scorpion”, and at least four weeks since S.D. 51030. Accommodating stardates doesn’t make it easier, but I think even ignoring them it would be difficult to get this to work.

August 2374: S.D. 511b3 to 512a3

Around now, four months before VOY “Hunters” (December 2374), Janeway’s partner Mark marries a work colleague. He’d refused to give up hope, but eventually decided that he needed to get on with his life.

Eight months before DS9 “Valiant” (April 2375), USS Valiant becomes trapped behind enemy lines. The characters say it’s “right at the beginning” of the Dominion War, and that’s eight months ago. DS9 “Call to Arms” is nearly a year earlier by my figures in May 2374, so maybe it’s hovering on the edge of possibility that it took a while for the front lines to stabilise, and Valiant to be on the wrong side of them for certain?

DS9 “A Time to Stand”

Twoday 26th Leaponemonth to Fourday 7th Onemonth, 9402 B.E.; Sunday 4th to Tuesday 20th August, 2374: S.D. 511b6 to 511d2

Estimated duration: 17 days
Chronology: The story must take longer than two weeks.
Continuity: It’s three months since the end of DS9 “Call to Arms”. I make it a slightly short three months, because even when I squish everything together and ignore some of the stardates, it’s difficult to fit everything in. DS9 “The Ship” was last year (I have it in July 2373).

VOY “Day of Honor”

Saturday 10th August, 2374; 49th nay’poQ, 999 Q.B.: S.D. 511c2

Estimated duration: A day
Continuity: It’s three days before VOY “Revulsion”.

VOY “Revulsion”

Tuesday 13th to Wednesday 14th August, 2374: S.D. 511c5 to 511c6

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the second day, S.D. 51186.2.
Continuity: B’Elanna and Tom haven’t spoken for three days, since VOY “Day of Honor”. Tuvok is promoted to lieutenant commander on the first day. Very strangely, Tom Paris suggests that 7of9 was a Borg a month earlier, and yet she’s been on the ship for two months in VOY “The Raven”. There was no way I could get that to work.

DS9 “Rocks and Shoals”

Sixday 9th to Threeday 13th Onemonth, 9402 B.E.; Friday 23rd to Tuesday 27th August, 2374: S.D. 511d5 to 511d9

Estimated duration: 5 days
Continuity: They’ve been stranded in the Jem’Hadar ship for three days, making it very shortly after DS9 “A Time to Stand”. Sisko captures a Vorta, who’ll be in DS9 “The Magnificent Ferengi”.

VOY “Scientific Method”

Tuesday 27th August to Sunday 1st September, 2374: S.D. 511d9 to 512a4

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the last day, S.D. 51244.3.
Continuity: It’s “a couple of weeks” since VOY “Day of Honor”. I have it as about two and a half. The invisible aliens claim to have been experimenting on the crew for “weeks,” although this is the only time there’s any clear evidence of their activities.

DS9 “Sons and Daughters”

Fiveday 15th to Oneday 18th Onemonth, 9402 B.E.; Thurday 29th August to Sunday 1st September, 2374; 17th to 20th So’jen, 999 Q.B.: S.D. 512a1 to 512a4

Estimated duration: 4 days
Continuity: Alexander Rozhenko is assigned to Rotarran and joins the House of Martok. It’s “weeks” before DS9 “Favor the Bold”. I’ve managed just over a fortnight.

DS9 “Behind the Lines”

Twoday 19th to Sixday 23rd Onemonth, 9402 B.E.; Monday 2nd to Friday 6th September, 2374: S.D. 512a5 to 512a9

Actual stardates: Friday 23rd to Tuesday 27th August, 2374: S.D. 511d5 to 511d9

Estimated duration: 5 days
Chronology: There are stardates for the first day, S.D. 51145.3 and the last day, S.D. 51149.5. That’s massively too early for my purposes, so I’ve had to ignore them.
Continuity: Sisko becomes Admiral Ross’ new adjutant. It’s at least a week before DS9 “Favor the Bold”, based on Rom’s imprisonment. This is where Odo inadvertently infects a Changeling with Starfleet’s “little surprise.”

VOY “Year of Hell” (Parts 1 & 2)

Monday 9th September, 2374: S.D. 512b2

Estimated duration: A day, in the “real” timeline
Chronology: There’s a stardate, S.D. 51252.3. It cannot possibly be on this day, or on any other. The degree to which VOY “Year of Hell” won’t fit into my theories is so great that I’ve taken it out into a whole separate article.

DS9 “Favor the Bold”

Threeday 34th to Threeday 41st Onemonth, 9402 B.E.; Thursday 19th to Thursday 26th September, 2374: S.D. 512c2 to 512c9

Estimated duration: 8 days
Continuity: Nog becomes an ensign on what I think is the sixth day. This story leads straight into DS9 “Sacrifice of Angels”

VOY “Random Thoughts”

Saturday 21st to Friday 27th September, 2374: S.D. 512c4 to 512d0

Actual stardates: Friday 11th to Thursday 17th October, 2374: S.D. 513x4 to 513y0

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the fourth day after Voyager arrives at the Mari homeworld, S.D. 51367.2. Alas, I had to ignore it to fit in VOY “Concerning Flight”.

DS9 “Sacrifice of Angels”

Fourday 42nd Onemonth, 9402 B.E.; Friday 27th September, 2374: S.D. 512d0

Estimated duration: 10 hours
Continuity: The story continues straight from DS9 “Favor the Bold”, and is a week before DS9 “You Are Cordially Invited…” The station is retaken from the Dominion, Ziyal dies and Dukat is captured.

DS9 “You Are Cordially Invited…”

Threeday 48th to Twoday 54th Onemonth, 9402 B.E.; Friday 4th to Thursday 10th October, 2374; 1st to 6th lo’bral, 999 Q.B.: S.D. 512d7 to 513x3

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: There is a stardate for the first day, S.D. 51247.5.
Continuity: It’s a week since DS9 “Sacrifice of Angels”. Dax and Worf get married. It’s supposed to be two months before DS9 “Change of Heart” (January 2375), so I didn’t manage that.
Chronology: The wedding’s on the last day, and Alexander Rozhenko transfers to Ya’vang at the end of the week, which I make just afterwards, if it’s the Friday (or a bit longer if it’s the Sevenday).

DS9 “Resurrection”

Fiveday 2nd to Twoday 6th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Sunday 13th to Thursday 17th October, 2374: S.D. 513x6 to 513y0

Estimated duration: 5 Bajoran days
Continuity: Mirror-Bareil pops by from the alternate universe.

VOY “Concerning Flight”

Sunday 13th October to Thursday 14th November, 2374: S.D. 513x6 to 514a8

Estimated duration: 34 days
Chronology: There are stardates for what I think is the eleventh day, S.D. 51386.4, the seventeenth day, S.D. 51392.7 and the thirty-fourth day, S.D. 51408.3.
Continuity: A holographic recreation of Leonardo Da Vinci features quite prominently in this story.

DS9 “Statistical Probabilities”

Twoday 13th to Sevenday 18th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Friday 25th to Wednesday 30th October, 2374: S.D. 513y8 to 513z3

Estimated duration: 6 days
Continuity: DS9 “Doctor Bashir, I Presume?” was last year. I make it ten months before, and I think it’s stretching a point to say it started on the last day of 2373; I’m going to have to hide behind the “Bajoran year” excuse again. Bashir and O’Brien’s darts night is on what I think is the third day.

Around October 2374

Almost a year before DS9 “Treachery, Faith and the Great River” (September 2375), Gul Russol is executed.

November 2374: S.D. 513z5 to 514c4

Glinn Lasaran starts supplying information to the Federation, two months before DS9 “Change of Heart” (January 2375).

DS9 “The Magnificent Ferengi”

Fourday 22nd to Threeday 28th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Monday 4th to Sunday 10th November, 2374: S.D. 513z8 to 514a4

Estimated duration: A week

Fiveday 30th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Tuesday 12th November, 2374: S.D. 514a6

Two days before DS9 “Waltz”, Sisko sets off on Honshu with Dukat.

Around Fiveday 30th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Tuesday 12th November, 2374: S.D. 514a6

Two weeks before DS9 “Who Mourns for Morn?”, Morn leaves the station.

DS9 “Waltz”

Sevenday 32nd to Fiveday 37th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Thursday 14th to Tuesday 19th November, 2374: S.D. 514a8 to 514b3

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: There are stardates for the first day, S.D. 51408.6 and the sixth day, S.D. 51413.6.
Continuity: Dukat escapes.

Sevenday 39th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Friday 22nd November, 2374: S.D. 514b6

If Sisko posts a casualty list every Friday morning, and the one at the start of DS9 “In the Pale Moonlight” is the fourteenth, this should be when he posts the first. It seems reasonable to suppose that the casualty lists are issued every Earth week, so I’ve not tied myself in knots trying to convert this to a Bajoran equivalent.

VOY “Mortal Coil”

Saturday 23rd to Saturday 30th November, 2374: S.D. 514b7 to 514c4

Estimated duration: 8 days
Chronology: The story runs from Saturday to Saturday. There’s a stardate for the third day, S.D. 51449.2.
Continuity: Thursday 28th November, 2374: S.D. 51452 is the Talaxian First Night of Prixin. Since the festival is never mentioned again, I have no idea when it will fall in other years. If Talaxian years are close to Earth years, it may well be early November, though. Neelix dies, but he gets better.

DS9 “Who Mourns for Morn?”

Fourday 43rd to Sevenday 46th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th November, 2374: S.D. 514c0 to 514c3

Estimated duration: 4 days

DS9 “Far Beyond the Stars”

Threeday 49th to Fourday 50th Twomonth, 9402 B.E.; Tuesday 3rd to Wednesday 4th December, 2374: S.D. 514c7 to 514c8

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: Sisko’s “vision” of the 1950s lasts only a few moments in real time.
Continuity: Doctor Bashir specifically recalls the events of DS9 “Rapture” last year, making it very difficult to see how the Changeling could have replaced him before that story.

VOY “Waking Moments”

Tuesday 3rd to Saturday 7th December, 2374: S.D. 514c7 to 514d1

Estimated duration: 5 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the fifth day, S.D. 51471.3.
Continuity: When time splits in VOY “Shattered,” part of the ship may be experiencing this time.

VOY “Message in a Bottle”

Sunday 8th December, 2374: S.D. 514d2

Estimated duration: A day
Chronology: There’s a stardate in VOY “The Voyager Conspiracy”, S.D. 51462.
Continuity: Contact is re-established (briefly) with Starfleet.

DS9 “One Little Ship”

Threeday 1st Threemonth, 9402 B.E.; Tuesday 10th December, 2374: S.D. 514d4

Estimated duration: A day
Chronology: There’s a stardate, S.D. 51474.2.

VOY “Hunters”

Sunday 15th to Wednesday 18th December, 2374: S.D. 514d9 to 515x2

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the third day, S.D. 51501.4.
Continuity: It’s supposed to be “almost four years” since the crew last saw their families. I make it three years and two months, being generous.

Around November 2374

Reg Barclay moves into a new apartment, almost two years before VOY “Pathfinder” (October 2376).

DS9 “Honor Among Thieves”

Sixday 18th to Sixday 25th Threemonth, 9402 B.E.; Saturday 28th December, 2374 to Saturday 4th January, 2375: S.D. 515y2 to 515y9

Estimated duration: 8 days
Continuity: O’Brien spends several weeks on the mean streets of Farius beforehand, so I’ve left a gap. He meets Bilby, husband of Morica Bilby, and ends up looking after Bilby’s cat, Chester.

Sunday 29th December, 2374: S.D. 515y3

Lyndsay Ballard dies, on S.D. 51563, according to VOY “Ashes to Ashes”.
