2371: S.D. 475y5 to 485y9
Table of Contents

Two years before DS9 “The Darkness and the Light”, Kira last speaks to Latha Mabrin (November 2373).

Zim Brott is assigned to Deep Space 9, five years before DS9 “Field of Fire” (January 2376).

Senator Vreenak is nominated for the Praetor Colius Award by the Romulan Senate Council. The year is given in a display seen in DS9 “In the Pale Moonlight”.

Monday 4th January, 2371: S.D. 475y8

Launch date of Defiant on S.D. 47538.5, according to the Bridge plaque, used for DS9 “The Search, Part I”.

DS9 “Whispers”

Oneday 8th to Threeday 10th Leaponemonth, 9398 B.E.; Tuesday 5th to Thursday 7th January, 2371: S.D. 475y9 to 475z1

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: It actually sort of vaguely works. There’s a stardate for the day O’Brien gets back to the station, S.D. 47569.4. Then there’s another stardate for the start of the story, two days after the fake O’Brien arrived, S.D. 47581.2.
Continuity: O’Brien is very clear that his birthday’s in September. Although his children’s ages are a complete mess, I managed this!

TNG “Lower Decks”

Wednesday 6th to Tuesday 12th January, 2371: S.D. 475z0 to 475z6

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: There is a stardate for the last day, S.D. 47566.7.
Continuity: Riker and Troi are doing crew evaluations. Since the last ones were three months before, I’d guess that these are the evaluations where Deanna meets Daniel Kwan, as mentioned in TNG “Eye of the Beholder”. It’s supposed to be three years since TNG “The First Duty” (March 2369). I make it less than two years, and can’t see where the extra year would have come from.

DS9 “Paradise”

Fiveday 12th to Sevenday 14th Leaponemonth, 9398 B.E.; Saturday 9th to Monday 11th January, 2371: S.D. 475z3 to 475z5

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There is a stardate for the first day, S.D. 47573.1.
Continuity: The colonists decide to stay where they are. It’s difficult to see how they don’t run into the Jem’Hadar not long after.

Thursday 14th January, 2371: S.D. 475z8

Three days before TNG “Thine Own Self” Deanna Troi attends a class reunion at Starbase 231.

TNG “Thine Own Self”

Sunday 17th to Saturday 23rd January, 2371: S.D. 476a1 to 476a7

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 47611.2.
Continuity: I calculate that Deanna Troi is promoted to commander on Thursday 21st January, 2371: S.D. 47615.

DS9 “Shadowplay”

Sevenday 21st to Oneday 22nd Leaponemonth, 9398 B.E.; Tuesday 19th to Wednesday 20th January, 2371: S.D. 476a3 to 476a4

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 47603.3.

TNG “Masks”

Sunday 31st January to Wednesday 3rd February, 2371: S.D. 476b5 to 476b8

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: There are stardates for the first day, S.D. 47615.2 and the fourth day, S.D. 47618.4.

Friday 5th February, 2371: S.D. 476c0

The last time Daniel Kwan’s girlfriend saw him, two days before TNG “Eye of the Beholder”.

TNG “Eye of the Beholder”

Sunday 7th to Tuesday 9th February, 2371: S.D. 476c2 to 476c4

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: there’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 47622.1 when Daniel Kwan commits suicide. There is a stardate for the second day, S.D. 47623.2, but apart from the definite death of Daniel Kwan, what’s real and what isn’t becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish as the story moves on. Events seem to happen over four days, but my best guess is that the events of the fourth day only happened in Deanna Troi’s imagination, on the actual third day. There is space for a fourth day if you disagree.

DS9 “Playing God”

Twoday 9th to Fiveday 12th Onemonth, 9398 B.E.; Saturday 13th to Tuesday 16th February, 2371: S.D. 476c8 to 476d1

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: The “out of nowhere” S.D. 47678.3 has been used to place the story.

TNG “Genesis”

Wednesday 17th to Monday 22nd February, 2371: S.D. 476d2 to 476d7

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the second day, S.D. 47653.2.
Continuity: I think Spot’s kittens are born on the fourth day, Saturday 20th February, 2371: S.D. 47655.
Comment: This isn’t how DNA works. It really isn’t.

DS9 “Profit and Loss”

Oneday 22nd to Threeday 24th Onemonth, 9398 B.E.; Friday 26th to Sunday 28th February, 2371: S.D. 477x1 to 477x3

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s an “out of nowhere” date, S.D. 47701.5, that I’ve used in placing the story.

TNG “Journey’s End”

Monday 8th to Friday 12th March, 2371: S.D. 477y1 to 477y5

Estimated duration: 5 days
Chronology: There are stardates for the first day, S.D. 47751.2 and the fifth day, S.D. 47755.3.
Continuity: The background to this story is the finalising of the new border between the Federation and the Cardassians. The DMZ is set up, and it would appear to be the point where the Maquis really begins to organise as a force, although it must have existed prior to this. Wesley Crusher decides to abandon his Starfleet career, and go off with the Traveller who was introduced in TNG “Where No One Has Gone Before”.

DS9 “Blood Oath”

Threeday 38th to Oneday 43rd Onemonth, 9398 B.E.; Tuesday 16th to Sunday 21st March, 2371; 45th to 49th jo’voS, 997 Q.B.: S.D. 477y9 to 477z4

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: The placing of this story has been influenced by an “out of nowhere” date, S.D. 47789.8.
Continuity: Koloth and Kang die on what I think is the fourth day, Friday 19th March, 2371; 48th jo’voS, 997 Q.B.; Sixday 41st Onemonth, 9398 B.E.: S.D. 47792.

TNG “Firstborn”

Monday 22nd to Saturday 27th March, 2371: S.D. 477z5 to 478a0

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the fifth day: S.D. 47779.4.
Continuity: It’s supposed to be at least five years before DS9 “Sons and Daughters” (I have that in August 2374), because Worf hasn’t seen Alexander for that long before the story. I make it three years and five months, with the big assumption that Alexander leaves soon after. I also calculate that the Kot’baval Festival will fall on 51st jo’voS, 997 Q.B.; Tuesday 23rd March, 2371: S.D. 47776. Worf says Alexander is “approaching the Age of Ascension.” I make it that he’s about four and a half in Human years.

DS9 “The Maquis” (Parts 1 & 2)

Oneday 50th Onemonth to Sevenday 1st Twomonth, 9398 B.E.; Monday 29th March to Sunday 4th April, 2371: S.D. 478a2 to 478a8

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: There are “out of nowhere” dates for part 1, S.D. 47802.3 and part 2 S.D. 47805.1. I’ve used them in placing the story.
Continuity: This story appears to chronicle the start of the Maquis, but there’s no way I could move it forward far enough to apply to the reference to Chakotay leaving Starfleet, or even some of the other references, like B’Elanna working on the torpedo in VOY “Dreadnought”.

April 2371: S.D. 478a5 to 478d4

According to a certificate seen in the alternate reality of VOY “Non Sequitur”, Harry Kim leaves the Academy.

TNG “Bloodlines”

Tuesday 13th to Saturday 17th April, 2371: S.D. 478b7 to 478c1

Estmated duration: 5 days
Chronology: There are stardates for what I think are the third day, S.D. 47829.1 and the fifth day, S.D. 47831.8.
Continuity: It’s six years since TNG “The Battle” (November 2364, although the stardates would place it in March 2365 and create continuity problems). I make it around six and a half. If Picard ever does try to keep in contact with Jason Vigo, it’s never mentioned.

DS9 “The Wire”

Threeday 11th to Sixday 21st Twomonth, 9398 B.E.; Thursday 15th to Sunday 25th April, 2371: S.D. 478b9 to 478c9

Estimated duration: 11 days
Chronology: The story definitely lasts more than ten days, so I’ve left room for it to be a little longer still. The placing is influenced by an “out of nowhere” date, S.D. 47849.8.
Continuity: Garak and Bashir meet regularly for lunch, once a week. I’m guessing that they don’t always manage to make it the same day of the week. We discover that Garak has links to Enabran Tain, head of the Obsidian Order. And a wire in his head.

TNG “Emergence”

Saturday 24th to Monday 26th April, 2371: S.D. 478c8 to 478d0

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the second day, S.D. 47869.2. I’ve made it a three-day story so the “baby” gets plenty of growing time.

DS9 “Crossover”

Fourday 26th Twomonth, 9398 B.E.; Saturday 1st May, 2371: S.D. 478d5

Estimated duration: 1 day
Continuity: It’s a year before DS9 “Through the Looking Glass” (January 2372); I make it eight months, and I’m very lucky with the new year. Mirror-Kira says its “almost a century” since TOS “Mirror, Mirror” (August 2267), but it has to be a little over, since I make it 104 years and Bajoran years can’t be any better. Doctor Bashir now says that Molly O’Brien is five! My calculations make her two years and eight months old.

DS9 “The Collaborator”

Threeday 32nd to Fiveday 34th Twomonth, 9398 B.E.; Friday 7th to Sunday 9th May, 2371: S.D. 479a1 to 479a3

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronolgy: The “out of nowhere” date S.D. 47921.5 has influenced the placing of this story.
Continuity: Vedek Winn becomes the new Kai.

TNG “Pre-emptive Strike”

Friday 7th to Thursday 27th May, 2371: S.D. 479a1 to 479c1

Estimated duration: 3 weeks
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 47941.7. The next stardate has to be more than a week later, from events in the story, so I’ve rather arbitrarily made it the thirteenth day, S.D. 47943.2.
Continuity: Ro Laren runs off, and we can assume she’s joined the Maquis.

Friday 14th May, 2371: S.D. 479a8

Harry Kim graduates from Starfleet Academy on S.D. 47918, where he’s been three times Parrises Squares champion. The stardate is established in VOY “Non Sequitur”, and his sporting prowess is from VOY “Tsunkatse”.

Sunday 16th May, 2371: S.D. 479b0

On S.D. 47920, Harry Kim requests duty on Voyager, according to VOY “Non Sequitur”.

DS9 “Tribunal”

Oneday 44th to Fourday 47th Twomonth, 9398 B.E.; Thursday 20th to Sunday 23rd May, 2371: S.D. 479b4 to 479b7

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 47944.2.
Continuity: Major Kira says Molly’s five. I still only make her two years and eight-and-a-half months old. The massacre on Setlik III was eight years ago (2363).

Friday 21st May, 2371: S.D. 479b5

In VOY “Non Sequitur”, Harry Kim is turned down for service on Voyager on S.D. 47925.

Monday 24th May, 2371: S.D. 479b8

In the alternate events of VOY “Non Sequitur”, Harry Kim applies to join Starfleet Engineering on S.D. 47928. That request is approved.

Fiveday 48th to Fourday 54th Twomonth, 9398 B.E.; Monday 24th to Sunday 30th May, 2371: S.D. 479b8 to 479c4

The O’Briens go on a week’s holiday, immediately after DS9 “Tribunal”.

TNG “All Good Things…”

Thursday 3rd June, 2371: S.D. 479c8

Estimated duration: A day
Chronology: The stardate is clearly established, S.D. 47988.

DS9 “The Jem’Hadar”

Oneday 10th to Sixday 15th Threemonth, 9398 B.E.; Saturday 12th to Thursday 17th June, 2371: S.D. 479d7 to 480a2

Estimated duration: 6 days
Chronology: There’s an “out of nowhere” date that I’ve used in placing the story, S.D. 47987.5.

Monday 14th June, 2371: S.D. 479d9

Chakotay’s father Kolopak dies? Chakotay marks the anniversary in VOY “Initiations”, although it’s only implied that it’s the first anniversary of his death.

Late June 2371

Two months before DS9 “The Search, Part I” (August 2371), Benjamin and Jake Sisko return to Earth for a visit. I’m guessing it must be shortly after DS9 “The Jem’Hadar”.

This must be the earliest that Equinox can be trapped in the Delta Quadrant, since the crew’s uniforms seen in VOY “Equinox, Part I” have the insignia that first appears in DS9 “The Search, Part I”. The implication made is that the ship disappeared soon after its launch, but this evidence seems to imply otherwise. I have it at least a year later.

Thursday 17th June, 2371: S.D. 480a2

The 4th anniversary of the Battle of Wolf 359, according to my calculations. As you can see, it’s quite a bit after any plausible date for DS9 “Second Sight”.
Comment: I suppose if you were really determined, you could throw the stardate and the continuity out of the window, and have it happen immediately after DS9 “The Jem’Hadar” on Friday 18th to Monday 21st June, 2371: S.D. 480a3 to 480a6. I wouldn’t.

July 2371: S.D. 480b6 to 481x6

Kathryn Janeway begins studying the schematics of Voyager in earnest, three months before the flashback sequences in VOY “Relativity”.

Vedek Bareil begins negotiations with the Cardassian Legate Turrel aimed at reaching a formal peace settlement, five months before DS9 “Life Support” (December 2371).

17:00 on Thursday 12th August, 2371: S.D. 481y8.7

Ben Sisko’s art collection is taken out of storage for shipment to Deep Space 9. It’s the Thursday before DS9 “The Search, Part I”.

DS9 “The Search” (Parts 1 & 2)

Fourday 15th to Fiveday 23rd Fourmonth, 9398 B.E.; Saturday 14th to Sunday 22nd August, 2371: S.D. 482z0 to 482z8

Estimated duration: 9 days
Chronology:There’s a stardate for what I think is the third day, S.D. 48212.4. Later, Defiant is boarded by the Jem’Hadar. In DS9 “The Abandoned” this is stardated to S.D. 48214.5, time index 310. I make that the fifth day, Wednesday 18th August, 2371. Part two of this story all turns out to be a shared dream. How long it lasts is anyone’s guess. Assuming that the week or so between the two parts of the story exists only in everyone’s imagination, I’ve assigned nine days to the whole thing.
Continuity: It’s supposed to be eight months since DS9 “Rules of Acquisition” (September 2370). I make it very nearly a full year ago. Michael Eddington is assigned to Deep Space 9. That makes it eighteen months before DS9 “For the Cause” (April 2373). I get the interval to come out at about nineteen-and-a-half months, which compared to other things (the O’Brien kids’ ages!), isn’t all that bad. Starfleet Command has been suggesting that Sisko replaces Odo for the last two years, which works. It’s two months since DS9 “The Jem’Hadar” (June 2371), which I’ve also managed. Sisko brings Defiant with him to Deep Space 9. It’s also two months since Ben and Jake left for Earth.

DS9 “The House of Quark”

Threeday 28th to Twoday 34th Fourmonth, 9398 B.E.; Saturday 28th August to Friday 3rd September, 2371; 3rd to 9th lo’bral, 997 Q.B.: S.D. 482a4 to 482b0

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: I let the “out of nowhere” date S.D. 48224.2 guide the placing of the story.
Continuity: Quark marries Grilka, and then gets divorced. Keiko shuts down the school because Jake and Nog are the only pupils left.

DS9 “Equilibrium”

Fiveday 44th to Fourday 50th Fourmonth, 9398 B.E.; Tuesday 14th to Monday 20th September, 2371: S.D. 482c1 to 482c7

Estimated duration: A week
Chronology: The “out of nowhere” date S.D. 48231.7 has influenced the placing of this story.
Continuity: Dax’s “secret” host, Joran Belar, is introduced. It’s 86 years since he died. Unfortunately, that works out to 2285, whilst the assigned stardate places it in 2282 by my system, 89 years earlier.
Comment: Of course, Trill years could be that little bit longer than Earth years, but it’s not a hugely convincing argument, really.

Around Oneday 47th Fourmonth, 9398 B.E.; Friday 17th September, 2371: S.D. 482c4

Two weeks after DS9 “The House of Quark” and two months before DS9 “Fascination” (November 2371), Keiko leaves on an extended trip to Bajor, initially for six months. It’s quite a bit more than a year before DS9 “Accession” (January 2373), but I’m not sure how exact that interval has to be. My guess is it’ll happen straight after DS9 “Equilibrium”, but it could be immediately before.

DS9 “Second Skin”

Threeday 1st to Sixday 4th Fivemonth, 9398 B.E.; Monday 27th to Thursday 30th September, 2371: S.D. 482d4 to 482d7

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: I’ve used the “out of nowhere” date S.D. 48244.5 in placing the story.
Continuity: It’s almost three years since Garak last left Deep Space 9. That’s a problem, because he visited Bajor last year in DS9 “Cardassians” (August 2370). An elaborate plot is used to try and convince Cardassian Legate Tekeny Ghemor that Kira is really his long-lost daughter.

Around September 2371

About six months before DS9 “Family Business” (March 2372), Cestus III revives the ancient sport of baseball.

Fivemonth 9398 B.E.; October 2371: S.D. 482d8 to 483z8

Vedek Yarka is stripped of his title, two months before DS9 “Destiny” (December 2371).

Sunday 3rd October, 2371: S.D. 483x0

The opening sequence of VOY “Caretaker”. Chakotay and his crew are Zapped by a Thing in The Badlands.

DS9 “The Abandoned”

Threeday 8th to Fiveday 10th Fivemonth, 9398 B.E.; Monday 4th to Wednesday 6th October, 2371: S.D. 483x1 to 483x3

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s an “out of nowhere” date, S.D. 48301.1, I’ve used in placing this story.

Friday 8th October, 2371: S.D. 483x5

USS Voyager is launched, two days before the start of VOY “Caretaker”.
The date on the ship's dedication plaque is S.D. 48038.5: Thursday 17th June, 2371, but those dates aren't always the most accurate, to the point that they may refer to something other than the launch of the ship. Henry Starling is quite specific that the launch is in 2371 in VOY “Future’s End, Part I”.

It must also be around this time that the earliest “flashback” sequences in VOY “Relativity” occur.

VOY “Caretaker”

Sunday 10th to Tuesday 19th October, 2371: S.D. 483x7 to 483y6

Estimated duration: 10 days
Chronology: I’ve set the first day as S.D. 48307. Voyager is at Deep Space 9 and Paris joins the ship. According to VOY “Non Sequitur”, the last contact with Voyager is on S.D. 48307.5, whilst VOY “The Voyager Conspiracy” suggests S.D. 48317. The second day then becomes the day the EMH is first activated, S.D. 48308. I’ve assigned the only stardate in the story itself to the ninth day, S.D. 48315.6. This is the day they first meet Neelix. In VOY “Year of Hell, Part I” the EMH claims that this is the date of his first activation. That really doesn’t fit at all with the way events are shown in VOY “Caretaker”. My guess is that the Array is destroyed on the following day, stranding everyone on Voyager.
Continuity: Tom Paris gets a field commission as a lieutenant.

Sixday 18th Fivemonth, 9398 B.E.; Friday 15th October, 2371: S.D. 483y2

Ha’mara, the second anniversary of the arrival of the Emissary, according to my calendar calculations, based on DS9 “Emissary” and DS9 “Starship Down”.

DS9 “Civil Defense”

Fiveday 24th Fivemonth, 9398 B.E.; Thursday 21st October, 2371: S.D. 483y8

Estimated duration: Less than 12 hours
Chronology: I’ve used the “out of nowhere” date S.D. 48388.8 to place the story.
Continuity: It’s supposed to be nearly three years since Bashir arrived on the station, which I placed in October 2369. I think it’s quite a bit less than that, almost exactly two.

About Saturday 30th October, 2371: S.D. 483z7

If Voyager’s first mission had gone to plan, it would have finished around now.

Around Thursday 4 November, 2371: S.D. 484a2

Ensign Wildman gets her annual physical, six weeks before the flashback sequences of VOY “Fury”, and finds she’s pregnant. The EMH suggests up to an eighteen-month pregnancy, I make it around sixteen months.

Friday 5th November, 2371: S.D. 484a3

S.D. 48423 is the implementation date of a Starfleet code, authorised a month after Voyager visited Deep Space 9, according to VOY “Maneuvers”.

DS9 “Meridian”

Fourday 37th to Oneday 48th Fivemonth, 9398 B.E.; Friday 5th to Tuesday 16th November, 2371: S.D. 484a3 to 484b4

Estimated duration: 12 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 48423.2. The appearances and disappearances of the planet suggest an overall length of twelve days.

DS9 “Defiant”

Twoday 49th to Fourday 51st Fivemonth, 9398 B.E.; Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th November, 2371: S.D. 484b5 to 484b7

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the third day, S.D. 48467.3.
Continuity: Riker’s identical transporter twin from TNG “Second Chances” tries to steal Defiant. As far as anyone knows, when “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” ends, he’s still in the Cardassian prison camp he was sent to.

VOY “Parallax”

Sunday 21st to Tuesday 23rd November, 2371: S.D. 484b9 to 484c1

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 48439.7.
Continuity: Neelix volunteers to be ship’s chef on the second day, and B’Elanna Torres is appointed engineer on the third day.

Late November, 2371

As agreed in VOY “Parallax”, Kes begins to use Cargo Bay Two as a hydroponics farm and Neelix sets up a kitchen in the mess hall. We first see the results in VOY “Phage”.

DS9 “Fascination”

Oneday 55th Fivemonth, 9398 to Threeday 2nd Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; Tuesday 23rd to Thursday 25th November, 2371: S.D. 484c1 to 484c3

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: The first day is the Gratitude Festival. I used the “out of nowhere” date S.D. 48441.6 and bullied the Bajoran year into cooperating.
Continuity: Mardah has gone away to college. Keiko and Molly have been on Bajor for two months. Lwaxana Troi is visiting the station.

Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; December 2371: S.D. 484c9 to 485y9

Around now, Kira and Odo go to review security arrangements on the Bajoran colony world of Prophet’s Landing, just before DS9 “Heart of Stone”.

Just before DS9 “Destiny”, the Qui’al Dam is put back into operation, providing water to the Bajoran city of Janir.

DS9 “Past Tense” (Parts 1 & 2)

Threeday 9th to Fiveday 11th Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th December, 2371: S.D. 484d1 to 484d3

Estimated duration: 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 48481.2.
Continuity: Sisko, Bashir and Dax travel back to Earth’s past, to 2024. More details will be found at that part of the timeline.

DS9 “Life Support”

Oneday 14th to Fourday 17th Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th December, 2371: S.D. 484d7 to 485x0

Estimated duration: 4 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for what I think is the second day, S.D. 48498.4.
Continuity: It’s three months before DS9 “Shakaar”. The Bajor-Cardassia treaty is signed on the last day, Fourday 17th Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; Sunday 12th December, 2371: S.D. 48510.

VOY “Time and Again”

Friday 10th December, 2371: S.D. 484d8

Estimated duration: A day
Chronology: Although the action takes place over at least two days, once time is straightened out, everything that “really” happens is on one day. I’ve used the “out of nowhere” S.D. 48498.7 to place the story.
Continuity: This is the first time the EMH gets to meet Kes and Neelix.

VOY “Phage”

Tuesday 14th to Wednesday 15th December, 2371: S.D. 485x2 to 485x3

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 48532.4.
Continuity: Kes begins training as a nurse, and lets Neelix have one of her lungs.

“Fall Semester, 2371”

Harry S. L. Kim has a certificate for completing Academy extension course #4077. Set dressing for VOY “Non Sequitur”.

Thursday 16th December, 2371: S.D. 485x4

One of the flashbacks in VOY “Fury” happens now, depending on exactly what time of day Voyager travelled through the wormhole. They’ve been in the Delta Quadrant for 56 days and 17 hours, so this is my best guess. Events take about three days, up to Saturday 18th December, 2371: S.D. 48546.
Comment: Things are a bit crowded here, but I had to keep VOY “Eye of the Needle” in 2371, or fail yet again to match the stated year.

VOY “The Cloud”

Saturday 18th to Sunday 19th December, 2371: S.D. 485x6 to 485x7

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 48546.2.
Continuity: Voyager has been stranded for “several weeks” now. I make it ten. Neelix appoints himself Morale Officer on the second day.

VOY “Eye of the Needle”

Tuesday 21st to Thursday 23rd December, 2371: S.D. 485x9 to 485y1

Estimated duration; 3 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 48579.4.
Continuity: The year is established as 2371. I’ve scraped in, just under the wire!

Mid-Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; mid-December 2371

Around now, Kira and Odo go to review security arrangements on the Bajoran colony world of Prophet’s Landing, just before DS9 “Heart of Stone”.

Just before DS9 “Destiny”, the Qui’al Dam is put back into operation, providing water to the Bajoran city of Janir.

Sevenday 27th Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; Wednesday 22nd December, 2371: S.D. 485y0

Nog celebrates his Attainment Ceremony, the day before DS9 “Heart of Stone”.

DS9 “Heart of Stone”

Oneday 28th Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; Thursday 23rd December, 2371: S.D. 485y1

Estimated duration: A day
Chronology: There’s a stardate, S.D. 48521.5.
Continuity: Nog wants to join Starfleet. Odo is hopelessly in love with Kira. Odo has an appointment to go kayaking with O’Brien tomorrow night.

DS9 “Destiny”

Twoday 29th to Threeday 30th Leaponemonth, 9399 B.E.; Saturday 25th to Sunday 26th December, 2371: S.D. 485y3 to 485y4

Estimated duration: 2 days
Chronology: There’s a stardate for the first day, S.D. 48543.2.
Continuity: Stable communications are established through the Wormhole.

DS9 “Prophet Motive”

Fiveday 32nd Leaponemonth to Fourday 3rd Onemonth, 9399 B.E.; Tuesday 28th December, 2371 to Monday 3rd January, 2372: S.D. 485y6 to 485z2

Estimated duration: A week
Continuity: Henri Roget wins the Carrington Award. More importantly, it’s the first O’Brien/Bashir darts match ever. The Bajorans may or may not have purchased the Orb of Wisdom. If Grand Nagus Zek kept it, it’s debatable whether it did him any good.

Approximately 2371

The Borg first encounter species 6339, about four years before VOY “Infinite Regress” (October 2375).
